Wisconsin Personnel CommissionThe Personnel Commission was an agency of the State of Wisconsin that existed from 1978 until 2003. During that period, the agency served in a quasi-judicial capacity and reviewed complaints and appeals arising from various personnel actions taken by the State of Wisconsin with respect to State employees. The Personnel Commission was abolished in 2003, and its responsibilities were divided between the Equal Rights Division of the Department of Workforce Development, and the Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission. The rulings of the Personnel Commission continue to be cited in decisions that are issued by successor agencies. Portions of the Personnel Commission’s website have been maintained solely as a research tool for the parties in more recent cases. I.
